Iraqi PM gives Kurdish regime 72 hours to give control of airports, border to Baghdad

The Iraqi Prime Minister, Haider Al-‘Abadi
The Iraqi Prime Minister, Haider Al-‘Abadi, demanded the KRG regime in Erbil give Baghdad full control of the airports and borders in Iraqi Kurdistan, Al-Sura News reported.

‘Abadi warned that if the KRG refused to adhere to this demand, Baghdad will close-off the borders and airspace over Iraq, making it difficult for Iraqi Kurdistan to resume commerce.

The KRG’s leader, Masoud Barzani, has yet to respond to this demand from Baghdad.
