Nine dead in Turkish air strike on hospital in Syria’s Afrin
A Turkish bombing raid struck the main hospital in the Kurdish-controlled Syrian town of Afrin on Friday killing nine people, a monitor said, as Ankara pressed its nearly two-month assault.


"There are at least nine dead. We don't know if there are medical staff among them," said the [so-called] "Syrian Observatory for Human Rights" war monitor.

Earlier on Friday, 18 civilians, including five children, were killed in Turkish artillery shelling of the northern Syrian city of Afrin, the [so-called] "Syrian Observatory for Human Rights"  and spokesman for the Kurdish People's Protection Unit reported.

The observatory announced that at least 2,500 people fled overnight from the city of Afrin in buses and cars to the villages of Nabal and Zahra.

    Η Ερυθρά Ημισέληνος, μέλη της οποίας εργάζονται στο νοσοκομείο, επιβεβαίωσε στο Γαλλικό Πρακτορείο την αεροπορική επιδρομή.

  3. Un raid turc contre un hôpital à Afrine a fait de multiples morts et blessés, a déclaré à Sputnik un employé de l'hôpital. Pourtant, l'état-major turc a démenti toute information à ce propos.
    L'état-major turc a rejeté les informations sur une récente frappe de ses forces aériennes contre un hôpital, situé dans la ville syrienne d'Afrine, qui avait fait de nombreuses victimes, comme l'a appris Sputnik d'une source au sein du personnel.

    «Au moins 11 personnes ont été tuées et des dizaines d'autres ont reçu des blessures dans le raid turc contre un hôpital à Afrine. La frappe a infligé des dégâts considérables au bâtiment», a affirmé un de ses employés.

  6. 22 civilians martyred, scores others injured in Turkish regime’s aggression on Afrin city...

    16 civilians, among them children were martyred and score others were injured due to Turkish shelling on Afrin Hospital on Friday.

    Director of Afrin Hospital Dr. Joan Mohammad told SANA that the Turkish shelling on Afrin Hospital caused huge damage to the hospital which went out of service.

    SANA reporter said that the forces of the Turkish regime and the mercenaries of the terrorist groups continued shelling with heavy weapons the city of Afrin, leaving 6 civilians martyred and 7 others injured, among them a number of children.

    The reporter added that the Turkish regime caused during the past few hours huge material damage to the building, facilities and infrastructure, and compelling hundreds of families to escape the Turkish shelling.

    The Turkish regime continued aggression on Afrin Area since 20 last January amid the silence of the international and humanitarian organizations left more than 1000 civilians martyred and injured and destroying scores of villages and towns and displacing thousands of civilians from their villages and towns.
