The coronavirus pandemic is on the rise across the world. At present, the countries with the highest number of infections are the US (9.85 million cases, 237,000 deaths), India (8.46 million cases, around 125,000 deaths), and Brazil (5.65 million cases, 162,000 deaths).
In Europe, France, Germany, the UK, and Belgium have introduced lockdowns to curb the disease, while other countries have also imposed partial quarantines in the most affected regions.
Azerbaijan has captured a key town in the separatist Nagorno-Karabakh region, according to the country's president.
ReplyDeleteIlham Aliyev announced in a televised address on Sunday that Azerbaijani forces had taken Shusha, known as Shushi in Armenian.
Armenia however denied the town's capture and said fighting was ongoing.
