(FNA)- Russia "strongly condemns" the US' Thursday night attack along the Syrian-Iraqi border, Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said.
"We strongly condemn such actions. We call for unconditional respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Syria. We reaffirm our rejection of any attempts to turn Syrian territory into an arena for the settling of geopolitical scores," Zakharova said, speaking at a briefing in Moscow on Friday, Sputnik reported.
Earlier, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters that Russia was "very closely monitoring the situation" following the strikes, and that Moscow is "in constant contact with our Syrian colleagues"...

US Democratic Senator, Timothy M. Kaine, said that the US aggressive military actions without the Congress approval is unconstitutional.

Kaine called on Joe Biden’s Administration to provide explanation to the Congress regarding the reasons of the US aggression on areas in Deir Ezzor near the Syrian-Iraqi borders on Thursday evening.
