S. Korea summons senior Japanese diplomat to complain over Japan's false territorial claims

 South Korea's foreign ministry has called in a senior diplomat from the Japanese embassy in Seoul to file a complaint over Tokyo's latest defense white paper.

 In its annual defense white paper on Tuesday, Japan repeated its false claims over South Korea's easternmost island of Dokdo. 

It also claimed South Korea is "continuing its negative response" when it comes to their relationship, citing heightened military tensions in the East Sea between the two countries in 2018... and Seoul's defense drills on and around Dokdo.
