Hungary will not allow to be dragged into the Ukraine conflict, even though it will not be easy since everyone at NATO and the European Union supports the idea of continued military action, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said on Saturday, speaking in Budapest on his government’s political priorities.
ReplyDeleteThe Hungarian prime minister pointed out that Hungary would prefer to achieve an immediate end to the Ukraine conflict, but "does not have enough strength for this."
"Therefore, we have only one option, that is to stay out of the war," said Orban, whose speech was broadcast on M1 television channel.
It would be difficult to do it being a member of NATO and the EU, as everyone there "is on the side of war," except Hungary, Orban emphasized.
