NATO states hope to form several tank brigades for Ukraine — Poland

NATO states plan to ship enough tanks, including Leopard 2 tanks, to Ukraine to establish several tank brigades for Ukrainian armed forces, Polish President Andrzej Duda said during a joint press conference with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg Wednesday.

Duda noted that Western states, including the UK, Canada and Poland, already ship tanks to Ukraine within the framework of allied actions.

"We want to gather at least a tank brigade for Ukraine. We hope that we will be able to form several tank brigades," he said.
