Mass missile strikes pound all regions of Ukraine, 09.03.23 VIDEO

Ukrainian officials say Russian missiles hit several cities across Ukraine including the capital, Kyiv, the Black Sea port of Odessa, and the northeastern city of Kharkiv.

The missile attacks set off air raid sirens across Ukraine, officials said.

In Kyiv, Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported explosions in the city’s southern Holosiivskyi district.

"The energy operator introduced emergency power cuts in the capital. At present, around 15% of consumers are left without electricity," Klichko wrote on his Telegram channel

The power outage in Kiev was also reported by the regional branch of Ukraine’s energy company DTEK which said the preventive measure had been taken amid the air alert.
