Netanyahu apparently wants to stop controversial judicial reform

The Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will, according to several media reports, announce a halt to the controversial judicial reform on Monday morning.

A statement by Netanyahu announced for the morning has been postponed, according to Channel 12.

It is uncertain when the Prime Minister will make a statement.

Before the Parliament in Jerusalem and in other cities in Israel, demonstrators gathered again in the morning. The umbrella organization of trade unions in Israel called for a general strike. All departures have been halted at Ben Gurion International Airport near Tel Aviv.
