Pilots of plane that crashed in DPR’s Yenakiyevo are alive — town’s mayor

 Both pilots of the plane that crashed in Yenakiyevo in the DPR are alive, town Mayor Roman Khramenkov told TASS on Friday.

"The pilots are alive. They have ejected themselves," he said.

Khramenkov said earlier on Telegram that a plane had been shot down over Yenakiyevo. It hasn’t been determined yet whose plane it is. First responders are heading to the location of the crash.

Yenakiyevo is a town in the east of the DPR, sitting on the motor road between Donetsk and Debaltsevo. It has been controlled by the DPR since 2014 and hasn’t been affected by hostilities during the conflict in Donbass.
