Ukrainian forces lost up to 50 soldiers in a day in Kupyansk area

During the day, the Ukrainian armed forces lost up to 50 servicemen and a Gvozdika self-propelled howitzer in the Kupyansk direction as a result of artillery fire from the Western group of Russian troops, Defense Ministry Spokesman Lieutenant-General Igor Konashenkov reported on Saturday.

"In the Kupyansk direction, air strikes and artillery fire from the Western group of forces hit units of the Ukrainian armed forces in the areas of the settlements of Gryanikovka in the Kharkov region and Rozovka in the Lugansk People's Republic. Enemy losses amounted to 50 Ukrainian servicemen, five armored combat vehicles, three vehicles and a Gvozdika self-propelled howitzer," he said.
