Four civilian residents of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) were killed and five injured in the past 24 hours as a result of 17 Ukrainian shelling attacks targeting the DPR territory, the DPR mission to the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of Ukrainian war crimes said early on Friday.
The mission said in a daily bulletin, posted on its Telegram channel, that Ukrainian troops used NATO-standard 155mm and 152mm artillery shells, as well as multiple-launch rocket systems to attack the republic.
Thursday’s attacks struck Donetsk, Gorlovka, Yasinovataya, Vladimirovka, Panteleymonovka, Yelenovka and Nikolskoye.
Four civilians were killed and five injured as a result of shelling that hit the Kalininsky District of Donetsk.
Overall, Ukrainian strikes damaged six houses and two civilian facilities.
The day before, eight Ukrainian shelling attacks were registered in the DPR.

Over a dozen civilians have been killed by a series of artillery attacks on residential areas in Donbass on Thursday, local media outlets have reported. Kiev’s forces used NATO-supplied howitzers and rocket launchers in two attacks on Donetsk city, Russia’s investigative committee has stated.
