Russia oil refinery fire extinguished after drone attack: Governor

A fire at an oil refinery in the Ilsky settlement in Russia’s southern Krasnodar region has been extinguished, the regional governor said.
Krasnodar Governor Veniamin Kondratyev said the refinery fire had been localised to a 400-square-metre (4,300 sq ft) area and was quickly extinguished by emergency services following a drone attack earlier on Thursday morning, Russia’s TASS news agency reported.

In the nearby village of Volna on Wednesday, a similar blaze at an oil reservoir engulfed 1,200 sq metres (almost 13,000 sq ft), with officials blaming a drone crash.
