Israeli strikes on Syria , Aleppo kill dozens

Israeli strikes on the northern Syrian city of Aleppo early this morning killed at least 36 people.

The Syrian defence ministry said earlier that a number of civilians and military personnel were killed after Israel and militant groups launched attacks against Aleppo.

The Israeli airstrikes targeted several areas in Aleppo Countryside at about 1.45 am local time.

  1. An Israeli air strike on Syria’s Aleppo province killed at least 36 Syrian soldiers on Friday, according to a so-called war monitor, which added that Hezbollah weapons depots were located in the area.

  2. As many as 33 people, including civilians, were killed in an Israeli air strike on military facilities near Aleppo in northern Syria, the Dubai-based Al Hadath television reported.

    Weapons depots belonging to Hezbollah paramilitary units who are fighting for the Syrian Army were also attacked. The Lebanese Shia militant group sustained five casualties.

    Witnesses reported a number of powerful explosions following Israeli airstrikes in the vicinity of Al-Neyrab International Airport near Jibrin, southeast of Aleppo. No damage to the runway was reported.

  3. A number of civilians and military personnel were martyred and injured on Friday dawn, as a result of an Israeli aggression targeting a number of points in Aleppo countryside.

    “Nearly at 1:45 am, the Israeli enemy launched an air attack from the direction of Athriya, southeast of Aleppo, targeting a number of points in Aleppo countryside coincided with an air attack carried out by terrorist organizations from Idlib and the western countryside of Aleppo province in an attempt to target civilians in Aleppo and its surroundings”, a military source told SANA.

    On Thursday,two civilians were martyred and material damage occurred in an Israeli aggression on a residential building in Damascus countryside.
