Ασκήσεις του Πολεμικού Ναυτικού της Κίνας σε τρεις θάλασσες

Οι δυνάμεις του Πολεμικού Ναυτικού της Κίνας έστειλαν τρία πλοία για ασκήσεις στην Κίτρινη θάλασσα, τη θάλασσα της Νότιας Κίνας και της Ανατολικής Θάλασσας της Κίνας, ανέφερε σε δήλωσή του το Υπουργείο Άμυνας της χώρας.

«Τα πλοία θα διεξαγάγουν πάνω από 20 τύπων ασκήσεις, μεταξύ άλλων και για την κατάσταση στη στρατιωτική θαλάσσια αντιπαράθεση, στρατιωτικές ασκήσεις μακριά από τις ακτές, καθώς και ασκήσεις προστασίας του ναυτικού δικαίου», αναφέρεται στη δήλωση του Υπουργείου.

Εν τω μεταξύ, τα δυτικά ΜΜΕ, επισημαίνουν ότι οι ασκήσεις του Πολεμικού Ναυτικού της Κίνας θα διεξαχθούν σε μικρή απόσταση από τα επίμαχα νησιά με την Ιαπωνία (Senkaku/Diaoyu) και με ορισμένες χώρες της Νότιας Ασίας.

• Chinese navy set for Pacific exercises

The Chinese Navy says a training exercise will be held in the Pacific Ocean, after ships sailed beyond islands off the country’s coast.
A defense ministry statement says the exercises are a regular arrangement, and in line with the navy’s annual training plan. No timetable has yet been given for the training maneuvers. The Chinese navy conducted seven similar exercises last year. Military analysts say China is planning to carry out long-term routine training in the western Pacific, which is suitable for deep water exercises.
The US navy has regularly held similar large-scale exercises in the Pacific Rim, as have the Japanese, Indian and Vietnamese.
