Moscow sees the current situation in Ukraine as anarchy which has nothing to do with a state ruled by law, the Russian Foreign Ministry said on Monday.
"It looks like the anarchy of early 20th century has been restored in Ukraine," the ministry said in a statement.
The ministry was referring to a train en route from Moscow to Chisinau, capital of Moldova, which was stopped Friday at the Ukrainian city of Vinnitsa, and its passengers were searched by a group of Ukrainian militants.
"(That accident shows) what kind of the state 'ruled by law' has been creating in Ukraine," said the ministry.
Anti-Russian sentiments in Ukraine and Western countries grew high following the accession of Ukraine's southern Republic of Crimea to Russia last week. (globaltimes.cn)

- Those Ukrainians were in uniforms of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army, a paramilitary army that engaged in a series of guerrilla conflicts during the Second World War.
- According to the ministry, the militants robbed the "terrified" passengers with the Russian passports and local police refused to react on the situation.
"(That accident shows) what kind of the state 'ruled by law' has been creating in Ukraine," said the ministry.
