Russia says it is carrying 2,000 tonnes of water, baby food and other aid for people in east Ukraine, where pro-Moscow separatists are fighting government forces.
Kiev and some Western officials have said they believe the convoy could be a cover for a Russian military incursion - a claim Moscow has described as "absurd".
On Thursday, the convoy of some 280 trucks stopped in open fields near the Russian town of Kamensk-Shakhtinsky, about 20 km (12 miles) from the border with Ukraine.
It was still stationed there on Friday morning and a Reuters reporter at the scene saw a dozen armored personnel carriers (APCs) on the move not far from the convoy.
Another Reuters reporter saw two dozen APCs moving near the border with Ukraine on Thursday night.

Претходно, лидерите на сепаратисите во Доњецк соопштија дека приемот и дистрибуцијата на руската хуманитарна помош во т.н. „Доњецка Народна Република“ ќе бидат надгледувани од страна на Меѓународниот комитет на Црвениот крст.

Ukraine fears the convoy may carry military supplies for the rebels, an accusation Russia has rejected.
On Thursday, two reporters said they saw Russian army vehicles heading into Ukraine, into rebel-held territory.
Ukrainian security officials said that they had spotted a column of armoured personnel carriers and military lorries crossing into Ukraine.

ReplyDeleteLe convoi humanitaire russe s'approche de la frontière ukrainienne, vendredi. Kiev et Moscou ne s'entendent toujours pas sur les modalités à suivre. Les gardes-frontières ukrainiens ont commencé, de leur côté, à inspecter le chargement russe.
Le convoi humanitaire russe ne se trouverait plus, vendredi 15 août, qu’à quelques kilomètres de la frontière ukrainienne, alors que le bras de fer se poursuit entre Kiev et Moscou pour déterminer comment sera livrée cette aide.
"Le convoi est stationné non loin du poste-frontière d'Izvarine, [près de Louhansk, NDLR], a indiqué Ksenia Bolchakova, envoyée spéciale de France 24 en Ukraine. Ранее в пресс-центре украинской силовой операции в социальной сети Facebook заявляли, что в пункте пропуска "Донецк" (с российской стороны пункт пропуска "Изварино") в 11:00 мск началась таможенная проверка и оформление гуманитарного груза из России, предназначенного для восточных регионов Украины.
"С украинской стороны на проверке присутствуют 59 специалистов". "Из которых 41 - представители Государственной пограничной службы Украины и 18 работников таможни. По предварительной договоренности этот груз последует в Луганск", - сказано в сообщении.
Сейчас колонна с гуманитарной помощью находится неподалеку от пункта пропуска "Изварино".

ФСБ: российские военные не пересекали границу с Украиной...
ReplyDeleteИнформация, появившаяся в ряде иностранных, в том числе украинских, СМИ о якобы имевшим место пересечении колонной бронетранспортеров российско-украинской границы не соответствует действительности. Об этом заявил ИТАР-ТАСС представитель регионального Управления погранслужбы ФСБ.
Он пояснил, что "в связи с регулярными обстрелами территории Российской Федерации и участившимися случаями массового перехода украинскими военнослужащими российско-украинской границы, принимаются все необходимые меры по обеспечению безопасности жителей приграничных населенных пунктов".
"Для этого созданы мобильные группы из состава погранслужбы ФСБ, которые при обращении жителей о ведущихся обстрелах, а также боестолкновениях в приграничной полосе, немедленно выдвигаются в такие районы для обеспечения безопасности государственной границы и российских граждан, а также недопущения проникновения вооруженных людей на территорию РФ", - уточнил представитель погранслужбы.
