ReplyDeleteKerry afirmou neste sábado, 21, que os Estados Unidos e seus aliados estão considerando impor novas sanções contra a Rússia e consideram o comportamento da Federação Russa inaceitável para a comunidade internacional.
Sem fornecer provas, autoridades ucranianas, juntamente com as dos Estados Unidos, têm insistentemente acusado a Rússia de enviar soldados e equipamentos ao leste da Ucrânia. A Rússia vem seguidamente negando essas acusações, enfatizando que não faz parte do conflito interno no país vizinho.
"As discussões continuam sérias entre os Estados Unidos e seus aliados europeus sobre exatamente o que e quando as sanções podem ser impostas. ReplyDeleteRussian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said on Friday that accusations from U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry that Russia was lying over its involvement in eastern Ukraine went "beyond diplomatic ethics", Interfax reported.
Kerry said earlier this week that Russia was lying when it said there were no Russian troops or equipment in Ukraine, where pro-Russian separatists are fighting government troops.
