Turkey issues arrest warrant for prominent Syrian Kurdish leader

The Turkish regime has issued arrest warrants for 48 alleged members of the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK), Turkish state media reported this afternoon.

Among the 48 arrest warrants issued for alleged PKK members on Tuesday was one warrant for the Democratic Union Party's (PYD) leader Salih Muslim.

  • The Turkish regime issued this arrest warrant after accusing Salih Muslim of planning the Ankara car bombing in February that killed 29 civilians and several other bystanders.

Salih Muslim has not responded publicly to this arrest warrant issued by the Turkish regime.
