Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko warned of a lesson for the whole world in the case of the use of shells with depleted uranium in Ukraine.
According to the Belarusian leader, if this happens, Russia's response will be terrible.
“And Russia will supply us with ammunition with real uranium. If they are insane, then they will give an impetus to this process... One should step aside a little from insanity. And then, as soon as these ammunition explodes at the positions of the Russian troops, you will see that the answer will be terrible, it will be a lesson for the whole planet,” he said.
The President of Belarus drew attention to the fact that in the Ukrainian issue it is necessary to move towards a peaceful settlement. The "trend" to escalate the conflict should be abandoned, he added.
