The Ukrainian side is preparing 12 brigades to start a possible counteroffensive. This is reported by The New York Times with reference to the Pentagon's "split" secret materials on the Internet.
According to the publication, Kiev plans to launch a counteroffensive in May.

"Ukraine is getting ready to launch a counteroffensive against Russian troops already in the next month", — the material says.

It is noted that 12 brigades are preparing for this, each of which is about four thousand fighters.
